KUALA LUMPUR – Consumers of telecommunications service provider Maxis have been venting their frustrations since this morning as the service has been disrupted throughout parts of Klang Valley.

According to several tweets posted by irate customers, the disruption involves either zero or minimal network and data coverage.

While Maxis has yet to reveal the reason behind the disruption and its scale, its customer service representatives have been responding to these complaints diligently via Twitter and Facebook.

Despite acknowledging the issue, Maxis’ social media respondents did not specify the cause of the sudden disruption as well as any estimated time of recovery.

In a brief statement to The Vibes, a spokesman said: “We would like to update our customers who were experiencing network disruptions earlier, that services are being restored gradually, and expect full restoration soon.

“We would like to once again thank our customers for their understanding and patience.” – The Vibes, June 30, 2022
