GEORGE TOWN – Three suspected street racers died on the spot after several motorcyclists lost control of their bikes during an apparent illegal race along the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway here.

The 5am incident, which also involved a car, saw several bikers lose control and crash into each other.

In videos posted online of the accident, several bikers fell while debris from the accident could be seen along the road.

Many bikers also took the opportunity to leave the area.

North East district police chief Soffian Santong has been informed about the incident and the media is awaiting updates from traffic police here. – The Vibes, July 17, 2022
