SIBU – Three men died while a woman was seriously injured in an accident involving two motorcycles at KM19, Jalan Julau, about 40km from here, late last night.

Bintangor Fire and Rescue Station chief Nicholas Beluling said the deceased were identified as Mathew Many Jonathan, 25, and Nelson Chendang, 21, while the identities of the other two victims are yet to be confirmed.

“The three men were pronounced dead at the scene and were taken to the Sibu Hospital mortuary for further action, while the woman was sent to Sibu Hospital by ambulance from Kanowit Hospital,” he said in a statement here today.

He said a team from the Bintangor Fire and Rescue Station was rushed to the scene upon receiving an emergency call at 10.24pm, and the operation ended at 2am. – Bernama, September 16, 2022
