GE15: Perlis sees six new names from PKR

KANGAR – PKR is fielding six new faces to contest the Perlis state seats for the 15th general election (GE15).

They are Padang Besar division deputy chief Natthavuth Seng for Chuping, Padang Besar chief Amran Kamarudin for Mata Ayer, former PKR Youth deputy chief Azhar Ameir for Puah, Arau information chief Syahmi Suhaimi for Tambun Tulang, State Leadership Council organising secretary Hasparizal Hassan for Guar Sanji, and engineer Amran Darus for Simpang Empat.

Meanwhile, three incumbent candidates, namely Asrul Nizam Abd Jalil (Sena), Gan Ay Ling (Indera Kayangan), and Nor Azam Karap (Kuala Perlis) will defend their respective state seats.

Perlis chairman Nurul Izzah Anwar, when announcing the candidates, said she was optimistic that the candidates could strengthen the party and win the seats in the GE15. – Bernama, November 3, 2022
