KUALA LUMPUR – The eve of polling day (November 18) and polling day (November 19) are set to be public holidays, said caretaker prime minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

“Friday and Saturday will be public holidays to make it easier for voters,” he said at a Cuepacs event in Putrajaya, today.

Ismail Sabri also announced that 30 highway concessionaires have agreed to go toll-free on November 18 and 19 to facilitate users’ journey.
