KUALA LUMPUR – A viral video of heavy rain cascading behind the main stage at the outdoor Bukit Jalil National Stadium has concerned Blackpink fans about tonight’s concert.
In response to the video, Twitter user @fatinillya_gg suggested that the organiser should have booked the indoor Axiata Arena earlier.

“You have to remember that it is flood season. You cannot be wrong when it is predicted to happen until August. Hopefully it won’t rain tomorrow. I’ll go anyway,” she tweeted yesterday.
Other Blackpink fans, or Blinks as they are known, also supported the idea of using Axiata Arena, but it is booked tonight for Konsert Malam Bulan Bintang, which features Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza, Datuk M. Nasir, and Alif Satar.
Meanwhile, Twitter user @sonkinsoo shared a clip on Twitter saying, “The sound system is so good. This is from outside the stadium.”

Separately, some netizens are making light of the situation via memes and TikTok clips, jokingly saying Blackpink fans would probably need boats to get to the stadium after yesterday’s flash floods.

Twitter user @iamcrazycowbear, however, advised fans to bring raincoats since the weather in Bukit Jalil has been cloudy this morning.
