KUALA LUMPUR – Barisan Nasional candidate for Jeram Padang, Datuk Mohd Zaidy Abdul Kadir was involved in an accident this morning. 

In a statement on his Facebook, Umno secretary-general, Datuk Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki said the incident occurred at about 3.25am along the Jalan Pasir Besar-Palong stretch in Negri Sembilan. 

“The driver is in critical condition. We pray that both of them will recover soon,” he said. 

It is learnt that Zaidy, who will face Perikatan Nasional’s S. Surash in the August 12 polls, has suffered light injuries. – The Vibes, July 31, 2023
