THE Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) announced that the results of applications for further studies at Public Universities, Public Higher Education Institutions (IPTA) and MARA Higher Education Division for SPM students will be announced on May 22.

Students can check the results for certificate, foundation and diploma level admissions for the 2026/2027 Academic Session from noon till 5 pm on May 31.

According to a statement by MOHE, checks can be made online via the official UPU portal at https://upu.mohe.gov.my, as well as via the UPUPocket and MyGov mobile applications.

MOHE said that confirmation of acceptance of the offer is open from 23 to 31 May 2026 via the UA, IPTA and MARA BPT websites, respectively.

“Official offer letters will be issued to successful candidates from 23 May 2026 after confirmation of acceptance is made within the specified period,” according to the statement.

According to the ministry, only applicants who were unsuccessful or received a certificate-level study offer can submit an appeal application via UPUOnline® at https://upu.mohe.gov.my from noon on May 22 until 5 pm on May 31.

However, appeals to Community Colleges can be submitted directly to the institution concerned without going through the UPUOnline® system.

MOHE also stressed that the offer of a place for the 2026/2027 Academic Session is final, and any application for a change of study programme is not permitted. – May 7, 2026
