BUDGET 2025 will come with Madani Sejati project funding for poor communities living in kampungs and longhouses in Sarawak from the Yayasan Madani directly under the Prime Minister Department.

These Madani Sejati projects come with a package of up to RM 100,000 for every kampung or longhouse.

The money is meant to be used to carry out micro-community projects like vegetable farming, livestock rearing, fish rearing and the likes.

Sarawak Pakatan Harapan information chief Senator Abun Sui Anyit said the Madani Sejati funding in the new budget will be swiftly approved by Yayasan Madani based on the needs of the respective communities.

"The Madani Sejati project is very useful and all communities in every kampungs and longhouses can benefit.

"They just need to submit their proposals and list down the micro-projects they want to carry out and estimate the funding and how many will benefit.

"Approval of up to RM 100,000 per project will be fast from Yayasan Madani," he said.

Sarawak Pakatan parties of PKR, DAP and Parti Amanah will help the communities in the kampungs and longhouses apply for the Madani Sejati projects, he added. - October 18, 2024
