This follows DAP naming former Tenom Member of Parliament, Noorita Sual as their candidate in the seat to challenge the incumbent from GRS, Datuk Rubin Balang who is also the Vice President of Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah.

During the nomination process this morning, Noorita was present with DAP Deputy Secretary-General Hannah Yeoh.

When announcing the list of candidates for the Sabah PRN previously, DAP only listed seven names and postponed the announcement for the Temabong seat.

Sabah DAP chairman Datuk Phoong Jin Zhe is nominated in the Likas DUN, Desmond Chan (Luyang), Datuk Chan Foong Hin (Tanjung Aru), Datuk Jannie Lasimbang (Kapayan), Vivian Wong (Elopura), Tang Szu Ching (Tanjung Papat) and Philip Yong (Sri Tanjong).
