THE Pakatan Harapan (PH) leadership meeting held at the official residence of the Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar today only discussed the party's preparations to face the upcoming State Election (PRN).

Negeri Sembilan DAP Secretary Cha Kee Chin, however, said that the meeting chaired by Negeri Sembilan PH Chairman Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun was not special as was being said.

"It was a regular meeting, not a special meeting. It was called an emergency meeting because of the short notice after the dissolution of the Johor State Assembly yesterday evening.

“The meeting took place in a harmonious atmosphere with the spirit of the Negeri Sembilan PH family. We discussed the preparedness of the PH election machinery for the upcoming PRN,” said the Rasah MP via his Facebook account.

It was earlier reported that PH State Assemblymen (ADUNs), along with several party leaders, were seen arriving at the official residence of the Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar as early as 9.30 am.

Their presence is believed to be to attend a special meeting related to the dissolution of the DUN.

However, the Menteri Besar’s Press Secretary, Ahmad Shahir Mohd Shah, informed that no press conference would be held following the meeting.

However, he said that the Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun, would meet with the Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir, on Wednesday. – June 2, 2026
