POLICE are looking for the driver of a Proton Iriz who fled after causing an accident at Mile 2 1/2 Jalan Meru, Klang last Tuesday.

North Klang District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner P. Ramsay Embol, said during the incident at 1.40 pm, the man suddenly changed lanes and crashed into a Perodua Kelisa driven by an 18-year-old man.

“The Perodua Kelisa driver was not injured while the Proton Iriz driver fled the scene,” he said in a statement.

The case is currently being investigated under Section 42(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987, an offence of reckless and dangerous driving.

Ramsay asked individuals with information about the incident to come forward to assist in the investigation by contacting the Assistant Investigating Officer of the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Division (BSPT) of the Klang Utara IPD, Sjn Low Wee Hong at 017-674 7946. – June 20, 2026
