KUALA LUMPUR – Former inspector-general of police (IGP) Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador is a widower no more after marrying a police officer with the rank of deputy superintendent.
Hamid, 64, tied the knot with his new wife, DSP Fazreena Abdul Karim who is attached to the Police Museum (Muzium PDRM), during a ceremony yesterday.
The modest event was held at the woman’s family home, according to Getaran, The Vibes’ sister portal.
Getaran has been attempting to reach out to Hamid for comments but as of press time, no response had been reported.

Hailing from Rembau, Negri Sembilan, Hamid had initially retired in 2016 but later returned to the police force and was subsequently appointed as the IGP on May 4, 2019.
He handed over the reins of Bukit Aman to his successor Tan Sri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani last year. – The Vibes, August 7, 2022
