EPF branch in JB closed for sanitation

JOHOR BARU – The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) temporarily closed its branch here from today until it is informed to facilitate in a disinfection and sanitation process.

A posting on EPF’s official Facebook page said the Health Ministry had instructed for the branch to be closed.

It said those who had made appointments for today or in the near future are advised to reschedule their appointments via the Janji Temu online facility on the EPF website, www.kwsp.gov.my.

It said members can also visit other EPF branches in the state that are open or make online transactions for certain services via i-Akaun.

A video went viral on social media today on the closure of the EPF Johor Baru branch, with members of the public, who visited the branch, seen outside the building listening to the announcement by EPF employees. – Bernama, December 6, 2020
