KUALA LUMPUR – Pos Malaysia has been appointed official logistics partner of the Malaysia Football League (MFL) for the Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Cup, Super League and TM Malaysia Cup.

MFL chief executive officer Stuart Ramalingam said the postal delivery service provider has signed an agreement with MFL for the 2022 and 2023 seasons.

“Pos Malaysia, through its excellent service, has worked hard to keep Malaysians connected, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic,” Stuart said in an online statement.

He added that Pos Malaysia is an attractive addition to the country’s number one sport through its wide reach and diverse community services.

“The bond between MFL and Pos Malaysia has long been established with both parties having recently worked together to issue special edition stamps in conjunction with the 100 Years of the Malaysia Cup in December.

“I believe this dynamic collaboration will further inspire our football community,” he said.

By partnering with MFL, Pos Malaysia will manage the logistics throughout the country for football equipment and other items weighing more than 100 tonnes.

Pos Malaysia group chief executive officer Charles Brewer said the postal delivery service provider is proud to be the backbone of all local football teams by delivering vital support for the Charity Shield Cup, Super League and TM Malaysia Cup competitions through the best logistical services.

“For over 200 years, we have continued to strive and to remain competitive in providing the best service to nine million addresses nationwide.

“The Malaysian football scene is very glorious and lively and we are committed to conveying the same spirit and love,” Charles added.
