A SOCIAL media user who took a video of a woman who filled up her Proton X50 SUV with diesel instead of petrol has received strong backlash from other Malaysians.

While a small number found the video which was posted on the Food & Travel Malacca Facebook page and credited to “Kenny” to be funny, others said they were upset with the poor attitude shown by the owner of the video.

“Why did he or she not run out and stop the woman, but instead sit back and record the whole thing,” asked one user.

Another said he was angry and upset over the whole thing and felt sorry for the woman who would have to spend a huge amount to repair the vehicle.

“Instead of you videoing her why don’t you say something to her?” said another.

MikeWinnie MW commented, “Should alight from your car and ask her why fill diesel rather than just keep recording the video and do nothing to prevent such a miserable thing from carrying on, sometimes a little kindness will be appreciated.”

“You are really talented, my friend,” said Patrick Tay.

Some social media users, however, joked about the incident, saying the woman was taking revenge against her husband for coming home late, while others said diesel was cheaper. – The Vibes, December 19, 2023.
