THE Penang government is committed to completing all infrastructure projects announced earlier and intensify efforts this year.

Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow said the state was committed to ensuring all development projects are completed as scheduled.

“This year, we must further intensify our efforts to implement the projects that have been announced.

“Whether at the state, federal or local government levels, the state administration will continue working towards outstanding performance this year,” Chow at the Padang Kota constituency Chinese New Year (CNY) open house in Penang.

Despite numerous challenges last year, Chow said the state government excelled in areas such as economy, investment, housing, welfare, and country and town planning.

“Without the backing of DAP, PH, and the Unity government, we would not have achieved the outstanding results of 2024,” he stressed.

He added that his administration will continue efforts to strengthen grassroots support for the current state government. – February 2, 2025
