TAFFIC policemen in Pontian recently went a step further in reaching out to the community when they gifted an uncle with a new helmet in conjunction with Chinese New Year.

In a viral TikTok post, the traffic policemen are seen surprising the uncle with the new helmet during the recently concluded Ops Selamat.

“We always see this uncle ride around. What better than to give him the gift of a new helmet for Chinese New Year," said the caption on the video.

The uncle was earlier worried the policemen stopped him for using a worn-out helmet but was all smiles later when they made him remove his old helmet and presented him with a new one.

According to the post, the new helmet was an extra one from a previous Ops Didik campaign held in Pontian.
