Earlier today, both Rafizi and Nik Nazmi announced that they were resigning from their ministerial positions. - May 28, 2025

THE Prime Minister's Office confirmed that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has received leave applications and resignation letters from two Cabinet ministers.

They are the Minister of Economy Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli and and the Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad.

“After reviewing the applications, the Prime Minister has agreed to approve the leave applications of the two ministers concerned.

“Any further decisions regarding this matter will be announced later by the Prime Minister,” read the PMO’s statement.

Earlier today, both Rafizi and Nik Nazmi announced that they were resigning from their ministerial positions.

 Rafizi’s resignation takes effect from June 17, while Nik Nazmi from July 4, 2025. – May 28, 2025
