Woman’s body found in locked 4WD near Setapak
The body was sent to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) Forensic Unit for a post-mortem - September 23, 2025

A STENCH led to the discovery of a woman's body in a 4WD near the Diamond Square business area, near Setapak in Kuala Lumpur.

The body was found about noon after the locked door of the vehicle was opened with the help of the Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM).

Wangsa Maju District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Lazim Ismail, confirmed receiving a report on the incident.

“The police confirmed receiving a report regarding the discovery of a body in a car near Diamond Square, Setapak.

“We have not identified the woman and it is still under police investigation,” he said.

The body was sent to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) Forensic Unit for a post-mortem and the case has since been classified as Sudden Death Report (SDR) - September 23, 2025
