KUALA LUMPUR – The weekly price of RON95 and diesel remains the same for another week to alleviate the cost of living for consumers, the Finance Ministry announced today.
In a statement, the ministry said that the price of RON95 and diesel will remain at RM2.05 and RM2.15 per litre respectively, despite an increase in price for both petroleum products in the global market.
“The Government will continue to monitor the trends of global crude oil prices and take appropriate measures to ensure the continued welfare and well-being of the people,” said the statement.
However, the price of RON97 decreased by 4 sen, from RM4.84 to RM4.80 for the week.
The weekly retail pricing of petroleum products using the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM) formula will come into effect from July 7, 2022, to July 13, 2022. – The Vibes, July 6, 202
