KUALA LUMPUR – PAS is eager to discuss forming a federal government under Perikatan Nasional (PN) following encouraging results achieved in the 15th general election as of 11.15pm last night.

PAS president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang is convinced a cabinet consisting of PAS MPs is a possibility based on official and unofficial results as of 11.15pm last night.

Speaking to reporters at PAS headquarters at Jalan Raja Laut, Hadi said the discussion will take place soon.

“If we win, we will discuss with PN to form a cabinet,” he said, adding that the encouraging results were the result of close coordination with Bersatu leaders including Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

Hadi also expressed appreciation to voters for making the effort to ensure that PAS, together with PN, can implement promises and the vision of the Prosperous Nation 2051.

“This victory is the result of the cooperation between PAS members and friends in PN who have been working hard over for weeks and months leading to this.”

“On behalf of the party leadership, I express a million thanks to all Malaysians who put their trust in PAS and PN to govern the country once again,” he said, at the press conference which lasted less than five minutes. – The Vibes, November 20, 2022
