KUALA LUMPUR – Following Istana Negara’s extension of the prime minister candidate submission to 2pm today, Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has called for a meeting with coalition leaders at his residence.

So far, PN secretary-general Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin, Bersatu deputy president Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu and PAS president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang were seen entering the house here.

3.48pm – Pakatan Harapan chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Muhyiddin have been summoned to meet the Yang di-Pertuan Agong at 4.30pm.

2.55pm – PN’s Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali is seen quickly leaving the residence without stopping his vehicle. He only gave a quick thumbs-up to the media waiting outside.

1.00pm – Former Johor menteri besar Datuk Sahruddin Jamal is reported to have entered the residence.

12.53pm – Bersatu’s Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan Md Yusof is seen leaving the residence.

According to him, the meeting was a normal meet-up to show support for Muhyiddin.

He said he is unaware of any decisions or retractions of MP support for Muhyiddin, and any updates will be announced in Istana Negara later this afternoon.

11.54am – Terengganu PN chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar is seen leaving the residence.
