A WOMAN carrying a knife has been arrested after being tackled by the crowd during the Rain Rave Water Music Festival on Saturday night (May 2).

Footage of the incident, which occurred during the festival's final night, has since circulated widely online.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Fadil Marsus confirmed the arrest of the 28-year-old woman.

In the viral video, a man can be seen attempting to disarm the woman.

Several others from the crowd, along with security personnel, then joined in to restrain her until the police arrived.

Fadil said that she was among a crowd of approximately 30,000 attendees when the incident broke out.

She is currently being held for possession of a weapon. – May 4, 2026
