PAKATAN Harapan (PH) President Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said he has not met Barisan Nasional (BN) Chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to discuss cooperation in the Johor state election (PRN).

"Not yet, not yet," he said briefly when met in Permatang Pauh today.

He said this when asked whether he had held discussions with Ahmad Zahid on matters related to cooperation between the parties to face the PRN.

Earlier, Anwar confirmed that he would consult with Ahmad Zahid regarding BN and PH Johor contesting solo in the upcoming Johor PRN.

Anwar said he hoped the negotiations would go well for the good of both parties.

In the Johor state election on March 15, 2022, BN formed the state government when it won 40 out of 56 state legislative assembly (DUN) seats.

PH won 12 seats, with DAP winning 10, in addition to PKR and Amanah winning one seat each, while Perikatan Nasional (PN) won three, and MUDA won one.
