An emergency meeting of the PN Supreme Council will be held in the near future to strengthen the organisation – June 18, 2026

PERIKATAN Nasional (PN) announced that Datuk Dr Mohd Radzi Md Jidin has been removed from his position as the party's election director-general with immediate effect.

PN chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar said Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Noor has now replaced the position.

"The PN treasurer position held by Muhammad Sanusi has been replaced by the Deputy President of the Malaysian Indian People's Party (MIPP), S Subramaniam.

"Deputy Secretary-General Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali has been removed to fulfil the requirements of the PN Constitution," he said in a statement.

Ahmad Samsuri stated that the restructuring of the coalition's administration was aimed at preparing for the Johor and Negeri Sembilan State Elections (PRN).

"The matter is based on the powers provided under Clause 8.3 (V), (VI), and (VII) of the PN Constitution.

"An emergency meeting of the PN Supreme Council will be held in the near future to strengthen the organisation," he added. – June 18, 2026
