KUALA LUMPUR – Police officers were seen removing two bodies from a three-storey townhouse in Jalan Medang Serai, Bangsar today, drawing a crowd of about 20 bystanders.

The incident was first posted on Facebook via The Republic of Bangsar’s page, saying that police were sealing off a house in the area.

A netizen mentioned in the post's comments that they spoke to someone in the crowd who said that he came to check on his colleague who had been absent from work for two days.

Another comment said that the house might be listed on Airbnb but a check on the app revealed that none of the houses in the area were listed.

At 2.30pm, around 20 officers were seen guarding the premises as they removed the bodies from the house.

An officer at the Jalan Telawi police station told The Vibes: “Given that the incident just happened, a report has yet to be filed, so we cannot give out information just yet.” – The Vibes, April 9, 2021
