KUALA LUMPUR – Rescuers find one dead individual and four with severe injuries after a collision between two trailers at KM408.4 south, near Tg Malim and Lembah Beringin early today.

According to the Fire and Rescue Department, there are two victims with light injuries as well.

One of the drivers died at the scene, his body removed by rescuers after being pinned down in his vehicle, while the other four passengers have light injuries.

The two victims in the trailer behind suffered severe injuries.

They were sent to Sg Buloh Hospital for treatment.

The department said in a statement that one trailer was carrying rice, while the other had signboards and it took two hours to pull out all the victims. – The Vibes, July 3, 2022
