PUTRAJAYA – An agreement signing ceremony between leaders of various parties to support the formation of a federal unity government will be held tomorrow, said Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof.

Fadillah, who is also chief whip of Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS), said the agreement will be signed by party leaders who agree to work with Pakatan Harapan (PH) to form the unity government.

“Tomorrow there will be a ceremony to sign an agreement between all parties that agree to establish a unity government.

“There (the media) can ask what the content of the agreement is and its focus,” he told reporters after officiating at the convocation ceremony of the Malaysian Plantation and Commodities Institute here today.

Asked which party manifesto would be implemented by the Unity Government, Fadillah said this matter was not discussed but said that priorities are being put on living costs.

The plantation industries and commodities minister also said that he would be attending a GPS meeting today to study the content of the agreement.

Fadillah added that as far as he knew, the recent announcement of a 20% salary cut involved only cabinet ministers. – The Vibes, December 15, 2022
