JOHOR BARU – Zarozatin Isa retained the Bagan Datuk Wanita Umno chief post after she beat the party president’s eldest daughter Datuk Nurulhidayah Ahmad Zahid for the position.

Latest poll numbers from the Umno elections also reveal that Nurulhidayah may comfortably secure a seat in Umno Wanita’s executive council.

Her father, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, retained his position as Bagan Datuk Umno division chief uncontested.

According to a Sinar Harian report, Zainab Samsudin won the Bagan Datuk Wanita vice-chief post, while Muhammad Nabil Saleh succeeded in winning the division’s Youth chief position.

Meanwhile, Mohd Izlahudin Shawani secured Bagan Datuk Umno's vice-chief position, while Nurul Salina Mohamad and Nurul Azura Ramli successfully wrested the Puteri chief and vice-chief positions. – The Vibes, March 12, 2023
