KUALA LUMPUR – Election candidates heading to their respective nomination centres tomorrow should expect thunderstorms and rain across the country.

The Meteorological Department has predicted a wet day in several locations in the peninsula, Sabah and Sarawak tomorrow.

It said in a statement that rain is expected in the morning in some locations in Perlis, Kedah, Penang, Perak, Pahang, Selangor, Negri Sembilan, Melaka dan Johor, as well as interior Sabah, Sandakan, Kudat and Labuan.

Several locations in Perak, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Negri Sembilan and Johor, Sabah west coast and Sarawak’s Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong and Kapit should also expect rain at night.

The submission of nomination papers is between 9am and 10am at 222 nomination centres across the country.

Malaysians will be heading to the ballot boxes on November 19 and early polling is set for November 15. – The Vibes
