Flash floods hit Klang Valley again after evening downpour

KUALA LUMPUR – Several locations in the Klang Valley were hit by flash floods again after a heavy downpour this evening. 

PLUS Expressways Bhd posted on Twitter that flash floods after the exit at the Sg Besi toll plaza towards the city centre had since caused traffic congestion.

Astro Radio Traffic reported flash floods taking place at Jalan Awan Besar and the LRT Awan Besar tunnel.

The deluge is also causing delays around the city centre, especially along Jalan Kuching, Bukit Jalil Highway, and the KL-Seremban Highway.

Motorists have since been advised to exercise caution and follow all traffic regulations. – The Vibes, December 23, 2022
