KUALA LUMPUR – The politics championed by PAS is based on principles and prioritises the general public above anything else, said party vice-president Datuk Seri Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar.

He said these are two of the seven core principles of the culture of mature and prosperous politics promoted by the party.

The other five principles are preaching that enjoins good and forbids wrong, solutions based on Islam, peace and diplomacy, rationale and professionalism, and politics based on truth and not perception.

“Welcome to PAS’ ark,” he said in a social media post today.

According to the Terengganu menteri besar, PAS’ crusade has always been to preach and invite all mankind to Islam, but without any form of force.

He said the party’s struggle also includes an agenda to manage the political way of life in a plural society based on wisdom, patience, and piousness.

“This is why PAS has practiced a culture of mature and prosperous politics, which is a political culture centered on maturity in decision-making.

“Our decisions are also in line with societal reality, based on the Quran and sunnah, and aims for the rakyat’s wellbeing, the country’s prosperity, and God’s contentment.” – The Vibes, February 5, 2023
