KUALA LUMPUR – The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning on continuous heavy rain at a dangerous level for four states until tomorrow.

MetMalaysia, in a statement issued at 1.05pm today, said the continuous torrential rain is expected in Negri Sembilan, Melaka, Johor and the districts of Jerantut, Maran and Kuantan in Pahang.

Continuous heavy rain at a severe level is forecast for Lipis, Raub, Bentong, and Temerloh in Pahang until tomorrow.

Continuous rain at an alert level is expected in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, and Perak (Manjung, Kinta, Perak Tengah, Kampar, Bagan Datuk, Hilir Perak, Batang Padang, and Muallim) today.

The same situation is forecast for Terengganu, Pahang (Cameron Highlands) and Sarawak (Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu and Mukah) until tomorrow. – Bernama, March 1, 2023
