PUTRAJAYA – Umno secretary-general Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan and DAP’s Steven Sim will be appointed deputy finance ministers, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Gabungan Parti Sarawak’s (GPS) Kota Samarahan MP Datuk Rubiah Wang will be deputy rural and regional development minister while DAP’s Kota Kinabalu MP Chan Foong Hin is deputy agriculture and food security minister.

Anwar added that Umno’s Lenggong MP Datuk Seri Shamsul Anuar Nasarah is appointed deputy home minister and former Kuantan MP Fuziah Salleh will be the number two at the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry.

Meanwhile, GPS’ Limbang MP Datuk Hasbi Habibollah is deputy transport minister while Barisan Nasional’s Pensiangan MP Datuk Arthur Joseph Kurup is deputy science and technology minister.

Anwar also appointed DAP’s Kulai MP Teo Nie Ching as deputy communications and digital minister and GPS’ Hulu Rajang MP Datuk Wilson Ugak Kumbong as deputy minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Sabah and Sarawak Affairs).

Deputy women, family, and community development minister – Amanah’s Raj Munni Sabu @ Aiman Athirah Al Jundi
Deputy health minister – GPS’ Sibuti MP Lukanisman Awang Sauni
Deputy works minister – BN’s Lipis MP Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Mohamad 
Deputy tourism, arts, and culture minister – Gabungan Rakyat Sabah’s Batu Sapi MP Khairul Firdaus Akhbar Khan 
Deputy local government development minister – PKR’s Johor Baru MP Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir
Deputy youth and sports minister – PKR’s Hang Tuah Jaya MP Adam Adli Abd Halim
Deputy foreign affairs minister – BN’s Kimanis MP Datuk Mohamad Alamin
